Founder & Executive Director, Champions Afterschool

Kammye is an educational leader, youth advocate, and visionary committed to creating transformative opportunities for children and families through high-quality out-of-school programming. As the founder of Champions Afterschool, she has spent more than a decade building programs that combine academic support, leadership development, enrichment, and community impact for students across Georgia.
What began as a passion for helping children succeed beyond the classroom has grown into a multi-site organization serving schools and communities through afterschool programs, summer initiatives, STEM and innovation experiences, arts integration, and workforce exposure opportunities. Under her leadership, Champions Afterschool has become known for creating structured, engaging environments where students are challenged academically, encouraged creatively, and developed as confident leaders.
Kammye's background in education and organizational leadership shapes her belief that every child deserves access to excellence — regardless of zip code. Her work is especially focused on supporting underserved communities, strengthening school partnerships, and building programs that help students see greater possibilities for their future.
In addition to leading Champions Afterschool, Kammye is also the founder of Champions Preparatory Academy and continues to develop initiatives centered on faith, leadership, innovation, and youth empowerment.
Her mission is simple: to help build confident, capable young leaders through environments that inspire growth, purpose, and excellence.
